I'm a player that likes storytelling much more than the experience classic offers, however though to me retail is a better fit, its awful as a story game, chonological order get thrown out of a window and the newest content gets jumbled with the old by forcing the newer content in your face at any moment you have acess to it. this is especially bad if you try to play the endgame of an expansion, which is required to follow the story. you get stuck in patch because you are required to farm out a zone, while the quest tracker sends you to the next one already.

Ok, WoD was infinitely better than Cata. The leveling was shit (completely linear quest lines). Linear quest lines meant you couldn't quest with people you usually play with. If you are out of sync, you can't do the same quests. Raids were not memorable. I gave up raiding in Cata because it was insufferably boring. The only saving grace was the new deadmines. But it's the same in Cata as it is in retail, so you are not missing it by playing retail.

The last boss has an attack combo, you have to look at the animation and dodge depending on it. The animations aren't that intuitiv tho so you've to remember it.
